The course is designed for those with little to no experience or knowledge, just a desire to learn and get a career in the games industry.
Learning is through home study with the support of a 24-hour student intranet where you can stay in contact with tutors and other learners. Tutors are also available via the phone and email so you can discuss areas that require personal attention. This method of learning enables you to maintain your current job and earnings whilst working towards your new career goals.
The main objectives of the course are to teach current modelling and animation techniques using bespoke industry-relevant software applications and proprietary tools. By the end of the course the student will have created a project portfolio of game animation projects that can be used for securing a future job in the games industry. The course will provide a solid grounding in art design that will be entirely relevant to a job at a game developer studio.
